What You’ll Do:

As the Director of Human Resources, you will partner closely with our executive team to steer the development and implementation of HR practices that align with Goodwill’s mission. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you’ll lead key functions including talent acquisition, organizational design, safety, culture enhancement, and DEI initiatives. This is a chance to influence from the ground up, ensuring our people-focused strategy drives the organization’s goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Culture & Strategy: Shape Goodwill’s inclusive workplace culture by implementing DEI-focused practices and engaging employees at all levels.
  • Talent Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training processes that attract and retain talent while fostering career growth and fulfillment.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to HR policies, legal standards, and workplace safety protocols, promoting a secure environment for all.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the HR team, empowering them to excel in their roles while delivering exceptional service across the organization.
  • Community Engagement: Represent Goodwill in community and civic settings, enhancing our visibility and fostering connections that drive Goodwill’s mission forward.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: 4+ years of human resource leadership, including experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities with a passion for building relationships and aligning HR practices with business goals.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Values: A commitment to integrity, service excellence, and collaborative leadership, alongside flexibility to support occasional evenings, weekends, and travel needs.
